So, this was a complete experiment for me. (And SO. MUCH. FUN.) I was inspired by the album art of Love's Not Dead by The Mowgli’s. But don’t go look at it, because then I’ll just be embarrassed by how much mine does NOT look like theirs. Anyway. I drew the letters for “Portland, OR”, and then painted them in using Mister Huey Pinstripe (with a little water added). Then I used a colored pencil to give a little blue shading to each of the letters. I used the cityscape stamp from the main kit to create a “Portland skyline”, and then doodled in the bridge. (My husband’s suggestion.) Bonus points if you noticed the itty bitty pic of the “Portland, Oregon” sign in the cityscape. (Also my husband’s suggestion. He’s a very clever husband.) I embossed the wood veneer geotags with Powder and Silver Zing and then flipped those bad boys upside down. Because you can’t have a layout about Portland without a raindrop on there somewhere.
