There are very few times that I feel like I have "used up" everything in my monthly Studio Calico kit. It's hard to put the things aside that I haven't used and move on to the next project that I'm working on. However, I must say that it's gratifying when I can say that I've "killed" a kit! So this month, I'm making one more project with my September kits

The topic of the layout is: a little bit obsessed, referring to my obsession with Instagram. The image in this photo is a full moon and even though it's a bit blurry, I am infatuated with it. I used bits and pieces of my September kits (which is a great way to use it up) and feel so great about getting to use my wood veneer IG icon! I also loved the exclusive Lindsay Letters stamps and was able to incorporate another stamp on this layout, as well as the gold doilies, gold trim labels and pattern papers that I liked.

I added some basic stitching to add a little dimension to this fairly simple layout.

Tips for using up the last of your kits: Create title work, use punches, or even little bits of pattern paper behind wood veneers or as accents.

I hope this inspires you to get just one more layout done with your September kits!

Supplies- pattern papers: Double Scoop Scrapbook kit, Sprinkles, Waffle Cone; wood veneer IG icon: Double Scoop PL kit; Gold Doilies: Double Scoop Scrapbook kit; Gold Trim Label: Double Scoop PL kit; Love It Stamp: September 4x6 Exclusive Stamp; Black Ink: Staz-on; Mist: Mister Huey Bazinga and Dark Calico

It's gorgeous! I'm a bit obsessed with the Harvest Full Moon myself but I don't have your obvious skill when it comes to photographing it. Very cool photo and a great LO to showcase it.

As for "knocking out one more project with my September kit" -- my Sept PL kit arrived in the mail yesterday. So I'm guessing that the next one won't be hitting my "doorstep" (the Canada Post superbox at the entrance to our rural subdivision) until sometime around October 18th. I've no need to rush, in other words ;-)
