Sunday Sketch | Brenna
This week, we asked Brenna Crook (SC username Brenna) to join us by sharing her take on our sketches. Brenna uses lots of color + layering in her projects, and we were excited to see what she came up with!
Here's a look at the sketches - our layout sketch is based on a design by Gillian Nelson :
And the card sketch is based on a design from Joy Taylor:
Supplies: Double Scoop Scrapbook Kit & PL kit & Add on Pattern Paper, Storytime Darling Transparency, Mister Huey - Piglet, Ink- Chewing Gum by Jenni Bowlin, gold metallic thread - Gutterman
I absolutely adored G's double page layout but I almost never create double page layouts myself. I still loved the sketch though, so I decided to compress the sketch into a single page layout.
How cool is the interactive element on her first page?! And being someone who also shies away from double page layouts, I LOVE that she condensed the layout sketch into a single page project!! Beautiful pages! Love the concealed journaling on the first layout. She will enjoy reading this as she gets older. Wish I had documented this for my sons (now 32 and 29). Your dd is beautiful!
