Handmade cards deserve handmade envelopes too! Get the most out of your kits and paper supply stash by using a template to assemble your own coordinating envelope. To match my card, I used kraft cardstock and lined it with some coordinated patterned paper.

(supplies : patterned paper : Studio Calico Antiquary card kit; stamps - Studio Calico Athens kitAntiquary card kit; cardstock - Antiquary card kit ; other - envelope punch board, ink)

For the card, I stamped the leaf in an alternating pattern in green and rust inks.

On the front of the envelope, I stamped To/From and added the leaf to bring it all together.

So, what are you waiting for? Create a coordinating envelope for your special handmade cards too!

Love how the card and envelope coordinate so perfectly - not just color, but style. The most coordinating I do is choosing either a white or cream envelope. ;-)

Love it! I am not a big card maker but seeing your coorindated envelope and card makes me want to create cards! I too would love to know what color inks you used and what type of envelope board punch you used.
