Computer : I’m a PC girl- I go back and forth between my Dell desktop with a 21.5” monitor and my Dell 15” laptop. I like to use the desktop with the big monitor when editing photos.

Programs you use : Adobe Photoshop Elements 9

How did you learn these programs? : I am a HUGE google/youtube fan! Whenever I see a technique or style that I like, I google until I figure it out on my own. This works best for me- I’m focused on learning something that I want to know and I’m not wasting time learning things that I don’t care about!

Method of printing : Walgreens or at home using my Canon PIXMA mg5320 printer.

Favorite font : I use Traveling Typewriter pretty exclusively in my Project Life album.

Favorite digital element to work with : I really LOVE to play with the digital stamps and create my own elements to coordinate with the kits each month! I’ve been doing this a lot in my Project Life album- using the stamps to make my own cards. It really helps stretch the kit!

How often do you use digital elements in your work : I LOVE to incorporate digital elements and probably do about 75% of the time. Cut files, digital stamps, printables…. they’re so much fun to add to my projects! I also really love to print journaling onto the patterned paper and Project Life cards- the adjustable rear tray on my printer gets a lot of use!

Favorite way to combine digital with traditional scrapbooking : I love to add stamps and journaling to my photos before printing. It really helps keep the bulk down in my albums and I love the clean look!

Something you'd like to try : I’d love to try to create my own cut files! I could play around in PSE and Silhouette Studio all day if I had time….

Advice to a digital newbie : Just give it a try! If you’re not sure how to do something, ask! Make google you’re friend! Don’t be too intimidated to give it a try!
