Our Layout of the Week, Harvest, comes from our member Aimee (username adow). Our community fell in love with Aimee's Harvest layout with it's classic grid design and beautiful photos. To keep up with Aimee and see more of her work, be sure to follow her here at SC and on Instagram!

Here's what Aimee has to say about her layout:

Hi there! So good to see you again! Twice in one week. That’s pretty awesome. Maybe if I keep this up, SC will keep me. Kelly asked me write a short paragraph about my layout – Harvest. So here goes:

Fluke?

Is that short enough? Oh right, that’s probably not much insight into the process. This layout was inspired the Bluegrass kit and our vegetable garden. Perfect match for sure. As it turns out though, I didn’t have a lot of photos of all the amazing produce we reaped over the summer months. I did however, have 3 copies of the same photo in different sizes. By cutting the photos into 2-inch squares I was able to create the feeling of abundance that we had enjoyed all summer long and well, let’s face it, everybody loves a grid pattern. The Alpha is from this months Guinevere add on. The woodchip (baby coaster to us Aussies) is from the Cuppa PL Kit and the vellum is from the Hard Candy add on. Don’t you just love it when all little bits and pieces come together? That’s really all there is to it folks. Before I go though, I would like to thank everyone who liked or added this layout to your inspiration book. It gives me such a buzz to think I might have inspired you in some small way. I’d like to thank Studio Calico for having me back again so soon – Nice to know I didn’t royally stuff it up the first time.

Congratulations Aimee! More members added this project to their inspiration books for the week of 5.20 - 5.26 than any other, making it our layout of the week! You have won a $10 gift card to be used on any new purchase at Studio Calico.

Want a chance to win next week? We love our creative community, and invite you to be a part of it. Share your work in the Studio Calico member gallery, and don't forget to take the time to add your favorites to your own inspiration book.

@natalieelph well all credit goes to your hubby for that one, but I'm positive between the two of us we can make it a thing ;)

    Thanks Janice. Much appreciated.
