#NSDatSC | Challenge 02 - Get Inky!

Stamps are one of the most versatile tools in papercrafting - have you given yours a workout lately? For our second challenge, we're asking you to use a stamp that you haven't taken out of the packaging. Go on... you know you want to get inky!

Dana Fleckenstein : My challenge was to use a stamp I hadn't taken out of the package yet and since it was still on my desk, I immediately thought of the cute stamp set from Stitched Class. I was in need of a card for a teenager birthday and the "wild and free" stamp paired with neons sounded like a good idea. Here's what I came up with:

Supplies : stamps: Studio Calico Stitched class exclusive; ink: Onyx Black Versafine, Hero Arts Neon pink; sequins: Studio Calico Neon Sequins pack; Mister Huey's spraymist: Calico Shine, Neon Mini Mister Huey's; other: Martha Stewart Glue Pen, American Crafts Foam Tab Squares, twine, cardstock, thread, 1 3/4" circle punch

Loredana Bucaria : I adore stamps. Why? Because they give the final touch to my pages. I can't finish a page without them. I love to use them in black or adding color touches or with embossing powders:) adorable! Give them a try and you will not do without them :) I have used three different old Studio Calico stamps sets from older kits.

We can't wait to see your take on this challenge! To be entered to win a prize from the Calico Closet, please post your project in the Studio Calico gallery by May 11th and add the tag #NSD2 in the description. Challenges may be combined - just add both tags in your description. Winners will be posted on May 12th.

I used the little stamps from the Cuppa scrapbook kit Chai add-on. They say "pretty crazy" and "this is awesome." And I stamped on wood veneer for the first time!

I used a Stampin Up set that was collecting dust. I bought it one year ago, and used it to on the color challenge.
