Two Page Layouts | Hello Hello

Sometimes a story is just too big for a layout. Whether you want to include multiple photos, a long story or just need more space to try a new technique, sometimes a two page layout is the way to go. We've enlisted a handful of our Creative Team members to take on the challenge of making more two page layouts this year - be sure to follow them for more inspiration!

Melanie Louette | This : I printed out the silhouette pic of my son and used it as a base for this 2 pager. I originally wanted to print it in colour, but it came out b&w after I messed with the printer settings, so I decided to take it from there and paired it with the beautifully colourful striped pp and just embellished very simply.

Kelly Noel | Hello One :Lately, I’ve been loving the trend of large photos. I love this picture of Sawyer from back in March (bed head and all!) and knew I wanted to use it big on this two-pager. It made a great and simple second page and I added a couple of details directly to the photo. I used the stamp set from the Hola add-on, stamped it 4 times and used them to document some of Sawyer’s favorites. I added 4 photos the same size as the stamped tags to go underneath each tag.

Natalie Elphinstone | Ripe : I decided for my 2-pager this month I wanted everything to go BIG! First I printed my 7x10" photo directly onto the ledger paper (the b-side of that red circle pattern) from the Ni Hao kit just for something a little different. It adds a subtle extra layer of pattern without being too overwhelming. For the other half of my double I up-sized one of the Cutting File onto a full page too. I reckon this would make a fun journaling card also, but for now it makes a great big bold statement. And I'm cool with that.

Gerlayn Sy | Explore Belgium : One of my favorite ways to document my travels is to create a summart two-pager. I chose a photo to enlarge for one side, and I used a simple and clean grid design on the other to include more photos and details from my trip. The topic unites both the pages, and the large photo is balanced out by the multiple small photos.

Have you made a two page layout recently? We'd love to see it! Link us up in the comments.

I definitely have created some two page layouts, much more than before... I think because I've moved to such a simpler style of scrapbooking with huge photo pages... really an emphasis on the photos more than anything else! You can check it out on my blog here http://www.tortagialla.com/2014/06/02/scrapbooking-big-photos/

You inspired me to try a two pager - I know I used to do all two page layouts, but this was hard!
