Our Layout of the Week, Yes, comes from our member Jen (username jenkinkade). We love her adorable photo of her daughter celebrating the end of the school year. Her use of the Hello Hello scrapbook kit is perfect with the large title over the photo and creative paint details on the wooden circle. Here's what Jen has to say about her layout:

I had persuaded my youngest daughter to allow me to take a last day of school picture of her. (I noticed that she had dressed pretty cute that day) When she obliged I think I squealed a bit inside. I know to keep these things brief because I won't be given much of her time. She's 13. I quickly snapped a few photos, hoping that I had got a decent shot as she walked away. To my delight, we had a WINNER!! Luckily I had just received the main scrapbooking kit from SC and knew that the acetate letters would be perfect for the title--they matched her pants. I knew I wanted to go BIG with the photo, taking up most of the 8.5x11 layout space and the rest of the page would remain neutral. I used the paints in the kit, along with some white paint in my stash, to create a mint colored paint that coordinated with my daughter's pants. Using the foam "YES" stamp in the kit, I stamped on a wood chip piece also included in the kit. I used a large white shipping tag to complete my title and the sticker sheet to finish embellishing my page.
