A Week of Photo Prompts

As we head back to school and into fall I notice I always change our routine around a bit so it is nice take a moment and capture some images with intention that you might normally miss!!

One of my favorite ways to take a photo is from above. Get that camera away from your eyes and shoot up over your head. The feel of these photos captures details that you might normally miss. Now I must warn you these can be tough to get a nice crisp image so make sure to take a couple while you are at it!

As we head into fall many words come to mind but COZY is one of them!! You know those beautiful fall sweaters and your favorite blankets, capture the tiny details here! Lucy is in her favorite place with a giant yawn (you know because her life is so tough!)

Tradition is HUGE for our family. The fair always comes at the end of summer and we MUST always WITHOUT a doubt ride the swings. Capture a tradition in your family that only takes place this time of year.

Color is what drives me. I LOVE it! I want to soak it all up. This week try to capture your favorite late summer/early fall colors in a unique way. Try to mix it up, add an unexpected color, and make it pop!!

I don't know about you but what we have at dinner is always changing. And whatever we LOVE at the moment we have ALL.THE.TIMe and then never to be see again (well at least for a month or two!!). Capture your current favorite, for my family it is our salad bar. Here you can see Addison "helping" me set up some of the side toppings.

Treasures. If you look around our home it is clear the things that we treasure most, take a moment to capture it!!

Let's MOVE!!! Sometimes it is tough to remember to capture movement in our photos, but it is super important because let's face it.. we are raely still! There are so many ways we can do this and don't be afraid of a little blur!! Here I took 3 photos and combined them into one to show one of our favorite recess activities!

I hope these prompts inspire you to capture something unique and help you to keep and eye out for those little details you don't want to forget!!

Love these photos! At first I thought you had triplets. What a great technique to learn.
