Sunday Sketch | Aga

This week, our layout sketch is an 8.5x11 layout patterned paper strips and a diamond design. Our card sketch features a trio of large die cut shapes and our Project Life sketch uses a 3x4 photo and a small embellishment with lots of room for journaling. My favourite part about working with sketches is that how easily you can adapt them to your needs or to the supplies you have on hand. They are always a perfect starting point for any card or layout! For my card today, I used the scrapbook layout sketch as my inspiration but I flipped it 90 degrees clockwise.

First, I made some ink splatters to the card background. Next, I mixed a digital flower stamp (printed out in pink and watercoloured with salmon Neocolor II crayon) with fussy cut flowers from the patterned paper. For the title I used the 'hello' craft die along with a label sentiment. Finally, I added a few star stamps to finish my card off.
