It's Magic! Using the Fairy Tale Stamp Set on a Layout | Ginny Hughes

The Fairy Tale stamp set was so much fun to use! It has some great fairy tale/princess/castle images to work with, but I love that a lot of the images and text based stamps are versatile enough to use in everyday pages.

I started out with an 8.5x11 piece of Solar White cardstock. I stamped the castle images along the bottom using Inky Black, the fireworks with Poppy, and the stars with Sunny Day.

I then filled in the flags on the castle with Glass Slipper. I love that this stamp set has all of the tiny detail stamps to really make your stamped image pop.

Whenever I am typing directly onto my layout I always lightly draw out a text box first; it helps me remember my boundaries so I don't get carried away when typing! Then I just erase my pencil marks when I am done.

I experimented a little with the Let it Go stamps. The outline and the solid images really make them fun to stamp with. In the end I really liked the way that all of them looked, so I ended up using a mix of all different types of stamping on the striped patterned paper background.

I finished up with some gold spray paint splatters and a "This" badge to really emphasize the journaling. I felt like it "needed" something else even though the page was full and quite busy already. Vellum was the answer, so I used a star punch to cut some out and randomly added them across the layout.

Supplies: Fairly Tale stamp set, Penelope add-on, Athena add-on, Laina alphabet stamp set, Solar White, Inky Black ink pad, Poppy ink pad, Glass Slipper ink pad, Sunny Day ink pad, More Vellum

So cute, this sneak was why I wanted the stamp set and I'm so bummed it was gone instantly.
