New Main Kit Packaging

If your Carolina Moon kits have landed on your doorstep yet, you've noticed something new about the way they're packaged. If your kit is still on the way, you're going to be even more excited than usual when it reaches your hands this month! Starting with the May shipping, Scrapbook and Card Main kits will be arriving in all-new reusable plastic zipper pouches (Project Life® kits will follow later this summer)! We're so happy to be able to share the news!

We're always looking for ways to improve, as any business should. We've been thinking about packaging a lot over the last year, and we've been listening to your Customer Service queries and tracking comments on the Message Boards about your likes and dislikes when it comes to how your kits are packaged. When it came down to it, we decided that, we love our paper packaging, but we wanted to offer another option to ship kits too, and thus the new zipper pouch was born!

The new zipper pouches are made of a transparent plastic material printed with a faint grid pattern so you can see through to pinpoint which items you want to work with while you're creating. As you can see, these new bags have a zipper at the top to enclose all your items safely and securely. The surface of the bag is adaptable so you can personalize it with Staz-on ink, paint, stitching, and more! Add your name, the name of the kit inside the bag, or easily label and decorate the bags to your heart's content! You can also easily up-cycle these, which we're pretty thrilled about too. Try using them out to store your kids' school supplies, as a way to hold sandy shoes from the beach, to keep snacks in for a road trip - get creative!

We've begun shipping the Carolina Moon Scrapbook and Card Main kits in these new pouches (they will be used for Main kits only), and since May shipping has begun, they've already begun arriving to domestic customers. We hope you love them! The contents and quality of the kits will stay the same. You won't lose out on any of your old (or new) favorite items to accommodate for the packaging.

We're dipping into the new packaging in phases, with the Main Scrapbook and Card kits first to be shipped in these new bags. Our new Planner Kit subscription will arrive in this new packaging when it ships in July, and the Project Life® will transition over to it late summer. Packaging for the monthly add-on kits will stay the same, which leaves room for other items in the box too, like stamps or dies. As shipping is consistent with weight of products, it may or may not save on shipping costs for Project Life® customers.

We are so happy to share this news with you all, and we hope you love the new bags as much as we do. It's kind of impossible to not want to call them "cute" all the time. Who knew something so small could be so important? We did! :)
