Hi! Hope you're having a great weekend so far! I just love Sundays because that means it's sketch time. Yah!

This week I decided to mix things up play with the scrapbook sketch – but for a card! I just love what Geralyn did. I started off by trimming some paper from the Pop Art card kit on a diagonal, then things sort of went from there.

I wanted to incorporate some grids on my card, so I have two! One is from stamping the lines from the Ultimate Shipping tag set in both directions like so:

The second was done on my sewing machine using metallic gold thread:

Then to wrap things up, I stamped a tag repeatedly with black ink and the “hi” stamp, also from card main, added some gems, and that was that!

Thanks so much for joining me today! I can't wait to see what you do with the sketches. xo

Supplies: August Pop Art Card kit, Something Blue Color Theory ink pad, Ultimate Shipping Tag stamp set, white cardstock, sewing machine with gold metallic thread, pop dots, circle punches

Suprisingly, this is my first post this year. You don't know how much I've missed this!
This is kind of a mixture of PL sketch and Card sketch.

I was inspired by the grid design in the SB sketch and extended it to my whole page:
