Mixing It Up in Your Project Life® Album with Stephanie Bryan

Hey hey everyone! Stephanie back with you this month to share a look at the first part of my September Project Life® album. I cannot believe that we are already more than nine months into this year and that I have an album documenting each month of the year. These books are so special to me and I love that I've captured so many wonderful moments, sayings, quotes and memories.

Every month when I sit down to plan out my book, I go back and forth between album sizes and ideas. I think what I love most about this project is that I've been able to try out new sizes, find new favorite ways of documenting our day and use up my supplies in creative ways.

For my album this month, I decided to try out the Travelers Notebook. I have several of these pretties and have used them mostly for list making and note taking previously. But since I really wanted to try something new, I thought I would give it a go....and I am SO glad I did! I love love love this little notebook. Every page is a blank canvas just waiting for photos and memories.

I used my Brimfield Project Life® kit and lots of the Brimfield add-ons for my book this month! All of the kits coordinate so well together and the supplies are so versatile! I love mixing kits and goodies and making them work for my projects.

Like in months past, I made sure to include my favorite large photos and lots of typed text.

I also tried to sprinkle in some of my own handwriting because I really do think it's important to share that part of me as well. I love looking back on handwritten notes and information from my mom and hopefully my kids will enjoy the same one day.

I put together another quick walk through of the album because still photos just don't do projects justice, right? In the video, I share some of my tips and tricks for using a Travelers Notebook for memory keeping so be sure to check it out!! As always, thank you SO much for allowing me to share these books with you throughout this year. It's been an amazing process and sharing them has been the icing on the cake! xoxo

Supplies used: Brimfield Project Life kit, Brimfield Scrapbook kit, Brimfield Planner kit, Travelers Notebook, Weekend Card Set by IACB, Brimfield Printables by HF, Brimfield Planner Printable, Brimfield Printables by IACB, Things to Remember Digital Stamp Set.

Wow, okay I'm definitely going to have to try a traveler's notebook as a mini PL/journal album. What a fantastic idea, and a great use of the blank pages!! Thanks so much for sharing, I love it!!
