Do you think you have what it takes to be Studio Calico's next featured designer? Have a great idea for a stamp? Or the perfect pattern in mind for a paper? We want to see our community's original designs! One lucky winner will see his or her winning design, as finalized by Studio Calico, in an upcoming Studio Calico kit, with a design credit and website link to the winner + win a $50 gift card to the Studio Calico Shop!

Submissions will be accepted October 27th – November 10th, and the winner will be announced November 16th. You may submit your original design in the Member Gallery (instructions below).

Tell your friends to vote! The winner will be selected by a panel at Studio Calico from the top 10 designs with the highest votes from fans*.

To upload your original submission, follow these steps!

1.) Under the "Be Inspired" tab, click on "Member Gallery."

2.) Once you're in the Member Gallery, click "Upload a Project."

3.) Fill out the form for your project upload, including attaching your project image.

4.) Make sure to select the "Project Type" as "Member Design Challenge." Otherwise, we won't see it!

5.) Once all the details are in place, click "Upload Project."

6.) Then, send your link out to all your friends for them to "like" your submission! Good luck!

I've totally suggested this idea multiple times in the past year in multiple chats and in my surveys.
I'm happy you took my feedback from surveys and my suggestions from chats. I'm impressed with that. I sorta wish this had been done a month ago though...long story short, I wish I had seen this progress while I was making a decision about my kits.
Good luck to those who enter.

This may be a ridiculous question because I have zero design experience, but by "ideas for stamps" does that mean we should draw it out on paper and just go ahead and take a pic of that to submit? Does it need to be a digital design? Lol, sorry if that seems elementary, I'm still pretty green.

@cmsplitt Either or! If you want to draw it by hand, please do so and post a photo. But if you're inclined to make a digital design, feel free to do so as well. We will accept your submission either way! :)

Is there a specific size you would like the file to be or dimensions?

Is it one submission per member? Or can you upload a few different designs.

Being a professional logo designer at https://www.logoventure.com/, can I take a participate in this member design challenge. Because I assume that most people are unprofessional and they don't have a design experience.
