Sunday Sketch | Keisha Campbell

This week, our Scrapbook sketch features pretty embellishments. Our Project Life® sketch uses three cards and our Card sketch features pretty stamps. Get creative and be sure to share your projects here with us! We can't wait to see what you create! Today, Creative Team member Keisha Campbell shares her take on the Card sketch.

This week, our Scrapbook layout comes from I Hope by Brooke Takara

This week, our Project Life® layout comes from Wink Wink Main by Jenn Picard:

This week, our card comes from Merry Christmas by Jenn Picard:

This was such a cool sketch to work with, I loved the angled strips. I did a couple of slight changes-like instead of a full circle I did a semi-circle over to the edge of the card. And I switched the star for a flower. It's nice having a sketch as a guide for you to take on a few of your own variations!

Now it's your turn! Make a project using one of this week's sketches as a starting point, then share it in the Studio Calico gallery. Use the hashtag #SCsketch to make it easier for other members to find! Leave us a link to your project by October 26th in the comments here to be entered to win a $5 gift card to Studio Calico Shop. This week's sketch winner will be announced in the October 31st Layout of the Week post.

I would say this card better resembles the sketch. Perhaps the wrong card was referenced?

How funny @Celise! Right when I saw the sketch I thought of this card, because I had just added it to my inspiration book earlier this week. I think you're right, and I just love that card as well!! I'll definitely have to give this one a go!

I followed the scrapbook sketch, moving the photo and journaling to the top. I allowed myself to get carried away with my squirrel punch. http://www.studiocalico.com/galleries/176851-lucky-happy

I used the layout sketch, pretty much just like Ginny's original page: http://www.studiocalico.com/galleries/176892-overjoyed
This was a really fun one to do!
ETA: I based my layout on Ginny's "AH5" layout. It didn't really match the sketch, but I'm pretty sure it was linked here when I printed it out. So, mine can just be considered "loosely based" on Brooke's sketch!
