Tutorial: Creating Gift Tags with Documenter Kit Add-Ons with Maggie Massey

Hey everybody! Maggie here today with a quick and easy way to use pieces from your Documenter Kits and add-ons to create fun holiday (or anytime!) gift tags!

I started with my Highlands Documenter add-on, the Baking Tag stamp set and Jasmine Jones' Big Alpha Card Set (love this!) and then I grabbed a few more tools:

*some ink pads
*some adhesive
*a corner-rounder
*scissors
*a stapler
*& (not shown) a hole punch

Now comes the fun part...

I laid out all of my add-on pieces and then just got to work layering and embellishing the documenter cards with frames and transparent pieces and stickers to create my tags.

Once I adhered all my layers together, I punched holes in the top of each card and "addressed" them with the alpha stickers from the add-on.

I LOVE the simplicity of those big alpha cards! A little snip in the bottom of this "M" card turns it into a darling little banner... and the "Merry Everything" transparency on top really makes it awesome!

This little snowglobe transparency was so cool on it's own...all I did here was add a name.

For this little tag I used some of the stamps from the Baking Tag stamp set. These are some of the most adorable stamps EVER! And, because I plan on making a whole bunch of cookies this holiday season, I'm sure it will get a ton of use!

This is probably my favorite tag. More stamps from the Baking Tag set in a variety of colors complete this little card.

And finally, this tag definitely makes a statement. The little mint alpha in the middle makes the bold black of the card and letter really stand out.

These tags are were so fun (and so quick!) to create...and I can't wait to use them!
