Tutorial: Using the Arendal Documenter Kit with Kelly Noel

Hello SC friends! As a long term pocket page scrapbooker, I'm always looking for new and different things to do in my albums. One thing I love to do is create specialty pages, or pages that don't necessarily document a certain day or week, but rather cover a longer period of time. For this tutorial, I'm using some photos of my littlest, Sawyer, that I've taken over the course of about 3 months. It's a fun way to document a little snapshot of his life right now.

To start, I used the Arendal Simple Words Digital Stamp Brushes to add some text that matched my photos. I printed those out onto an 8.5x11 sheet of photo paper.

I also selected some products I thought might use for my page. I kept to a color scheme of black, white, blue and yellow. I love the pop of yellow in the Arendal kit!

I placed the journaling cards around the page being careful to spread out the colors creating a good balance on the page and then placed my photos.

I added some printedjournaling to the cards and added a few labels as well for even more journaling.

I used the Sawyer stamp set to create a title card for my page. I love the bright pop of the pigment ink on the white card!

At this point, it was time to embellish. I'm a big fan of minimal embellishing and on this spread, it made the most sense since there were a lot of busy patterns going on. I added a badge, heart sticker and some cork numbers.

I love creating this specialty pages to add even more stories into my pocket page album! I hope you'll to include some in your album as well!

Supplies: Sawyer Alpha Stamp; Arendal Simple Words Digital Stamp Brushes; Color Theory Lemon Zest Pigment Ink; Arendal Documenter Kit

Love this page! Can you tell me, how do you print journaling on to the little die cut labels? Did you leave the sheet whole and then figure out where it needed to be and put the labels in your printer or some other way? Thanks so much @kellynoel!
