Hi - My name is Megan. I have been married to Brian for over 8 years, and we have two boys. We live in Nashville, TN near where I grew up. I am an accountant and am lucky to now work for myself.

I have been scrapbooking off and on since 2002. In 2011, I started Project Life and about a year later found Studio Calico through some of the design team members. I started subscribing in mid 2012 and have stayed active in the community ever since.

Why Studio Calico?

Studio Calico kits were what got me back into making regular scrapbook layouts. The kits, classes, and community have been influential in helping me figure out my style and creative process.

Studio Calico's member gallery has always been one of my favorite parts of the community as it provides so much inspiration. I am also a big fan of Studio Calico's Scrapbook Kit. There is just something about their kits where I have an easy time working with the supplies and mixing in my stash.

Not to brag but…

Of all the projects I have made, my favorite is a scrapbook I made for my grandmother around 2002/2003. It contained a picture of each of our family members at the time with some short bio information. It also had some family quotes and funny stories, as well as letters from my individual family members to my grandma. She loved and cherished that scrapbook. Even though I made her others, that one was always her favorite. Now that she has passed away, I have the scrapbook and it is very sentimental to me.

Project Bucket List:

My husband is a high school coach and both of my boys like sports. I would really like to work on my sports photography.

What now?

One project I have been meaning to start is documenting our Disney trip we took in 2015. I am a little overwhelmed by the number of photos but hope to sit down soon and get some of the pictures printed.
