LOTW | Suz

Our Layout of the Week, 2014 Domestic Travel, comes from our member Suz (username SuzMannecke). Our community loved her creative travel layout using twine and cut up letter stickers to document her domestic travels in 2014. This layout was created as a way to highlight the various places my family and I have traveled to this year. The inspiration for my design was the awesome Lawn Fawn die cut United States map! I knew I wanted it as the focal point of my layout and added foam adhesive to give it greater focus and dimension. Gold thread and gold star rub ons were added to highlight each location and then each city was labeled on small pieces of cut-up label stickers. The Chic Tags wood veneers were the perfect finishing touches to my design and to my title work. A special shout out to the Studio Calico community this week for their kind words on my design and to Studio Calico for the feature!
