I just got a Kobo for Christmas, and I have read about 4 books so far, but I am looking for more ideas.
Would anyone else be interested in starting a book club here for this year?

    Ok...not too much interest here
It looks like on previous years everyone signed up for a month and then picked a book to read and discuss.
Do you guys think if we did 1 book every two months it might make it more managable?

I can go through a book in a few days, so I'm fine with whatever everyone else is comfortable with!

I'd love to just hear what everyone is reading! I know everyone is reading a book at the moment, and I can't for the life of me remember what it is called, but I know I want to read it (how's that for cryptic) lol. Its about a girl that comes to America, and she is put to work in a sweat shop, but then she gets a schorship to a college to make a better life for herself. I know the storyline is a whole lot better than that, but that is the gist of it. Does anyone know what it is called??

I have had two books sitting on my bedside table for weeks now, but havn't yet picked up either one. I have Golden Earrings by Belinda Alexandra that I got for Christmas that I know I am really going to love sitting there, but I am saving it for when we go camping at the end of the month.

What will we be responsible for during our month? Picking the book and do we need to have questions?

I'm really sorry that I have left this fall by the wayside. I just started back at school, and I work full time. I suggested this before school started and there wasn't much response. If someone else would like to take this on I will try to participate, but I just can't add something else to my plate right now. Sorry guys :(

Caz...how did it work in previous years?

I did a month last year- I think all we did was choose a book each month and then we were responsible to start a thread on it and check back every so often. It wasn't too time-consuming...I'd be game to do it again.

I'll take it over. I'll start a new thread and ask people to pick a month.
