I just want to chime in and say that I am actually interested in making cards! I love seeing the cards in the gallery and am going to try making them myself soon! You guys are such an inspiration!
So exciting! I've been making cards for about four years now. It started out because I had a lot of scrapbook paper and balked at the $5 price tag on some of the cards I was seeing in stores. Now, it's a full-fledged hobby of its own. It's what I'm known for among my family and friends.
Cards are going to be so wonderful. Cards are how I came into papercrafting and then back into scrapbooking (hadn't done anything since high school). I am so excited to see what everyone comes up with using these great kits.

Lynsey, isn't it funny how quickly it becomes a serious hobby? I used to looove to go to Hallmark and browse around for cute boxed note cards and such, but since I started making my own, I don't think I've even set foot in Hallmark in maybe 4 or 5 years. Crazy!

I love this! I am an avid card maker - made my own invitations for my wedding, as well as thank you's to match. I make our christmas card every year, and make all the cards for our family and friends birthdays. I also make cards for everyone here at work for their birthday, but make the girls cards way better than the guys - especially the ones that don't care. I am excited to see all the inspiration with the new sc kits!
Verdigris, she's totally adorable!! Don't you just love those baby pics? We were looking back at our Windsor's baby pics just this weekend.....he was so tiiiiiny and now he's 85 or so pounds!
Dawn, I didn't start making cards until you joined the Design team! I have a little collection going and it's so nice to pick from it when I need a card. No more last minute running to the store to pick up a birthday card! =)

luvbeetle, compared to scrapbooking, cards are very "instant gratification", aren't they? I think that's part of their appeal.....

Thanks, Dawn! Winnie is a wee bit bigger now as she just celebrated her 2nd birthday (nearly 30 pounds bigger!), but she's still adorable.

I scrapbook more than make cards. However, I do make all my cards for birthday's, holiday's, etc. Can not wait to see the SC card kit.
