Hijacking your thread, :-) but does anyone have trouble getting the photos to upload if they are just on 3G and not wireless? I cannot get mine to upload unless I am on a wireless connection. Otherwise it just says failed.
Missy, I had the same problem for quite a while. I contacted Instagram and they had me do a bit of troubleshooting, none of which made the problem go away. Then suddenly it started working again. Not sure why...
I'd contact them and do the same... It might be a problem with the 3G from your provider.
I also cannot upload without wireless. It could have been my locations though. Maybe some locations have weaker 3g networks. But then after to get to a wireless they work.
when you take a pic with it, does it automatically load to the instagram site, or do you have to do it?
You have to follow the prompts (filter, entering a comment if you want) and then Done.

It will automatically upload to the instagram site (after you press DONE) unless you set Photos to Private.

Sometimes mine don't load. I just try again later.
