So I got PSE 10 last fall and feel kind of dumb, but I can't figure out how to use it. Are there books or something that can help me? What would you recommend?
Adobe has some great video tutorials you can access from the help menus. And also YouTube. Ali Edwards, Cathy Zielske (sp?), banana fish all have some helpful videos on their blogs. If you have a particular question, you could post it here, these ladies are pretty savvy with it.
Scott Kelby writes the best books on using the program and he has a website with tutorials and videos. He is funny and makes the material accessible. Jessica Sprague has great classes on her site for digi scrapping, photo editing and organization. Never taken a bad class from her.
sweetsierra, I've been wanting to get it for awhile now, but have heard it's pretty difficult to use, especially when using a Mac. Thanks for asking the question! I'll be following the thread closely.
The class at jessicasprage.com is what helped me the most. I think the one I took a few years ago is the Photo Editing 1: Good to Great class. It's great for getting started with the basics. After I got CS5 I really learned a lot from Erin Cobb's Clean Color tutorial. She has a version for elements too that teaches you how to edit your photos like she does. It makes my editing really quick.
I checked youtube for instructions....got started there....good luck, I'm learning it myself just by searching for what I want to do. I've had to search a few things a couple of times until I got it...
aww so sorry to hear that sierra... post questions hear and i am sure the girls will happily help you out :) i also bought it last year as an upgrade! i am by no means a pro, am happy to help you if i can :) post away girl, dont be shy, someone is sure to know the answer!!
