Hi :) I'm in the market for a new printer. Do you all print your own pics? I like to print my own but I think that I need a new printer. Any ideas? Thanks in advance for the help!
I really like my epson artisan 837. The only thing I would change is that I wish I had bought a wide-format printer so I could print on my 12x12 paper.
I need to reseach the idea of a printer that can use 12 x 12 paper. I don't think that there are many out there, it would be fun to be able to do though :) Mostly, I'm looking for something to print really good pics. Thanks for the help!
Epson Artisan 730. Awesome quality every time!! Great features and easy to use. Not a wide format though only because I don't print bigger than an 8 x 10 photo. I got mine from the Epson site with an instant $50 rebate. Check amazon for price comparison. I get my 4 x 6 papers and a pack of large printer paper from Staples.
i've always had an HP, but i think my HP is finally on it's last leg. i've been using this one since i started scrapping seriously in 2004. i'm in the market too and will be watching this thread :)
I got an Epson Stylus Photo R2000 for Christmas, and it's amazing. I rave about it every time I print pictures. Love that I can print wide format, too.
I have an Epson R2880 that is wide format and absolutely love it. It was pricey, but I got a huge rebate off Epson's website when I ordered it just before Christmas. Ink cartridges aren't so bad if you can get a rewards card from an office supply store (I use Office Depot) to get money back for purchases and recycling old cartridges. I use mine weekly for Project Life and have only just now been replacing cartridges - so 4-5 months or so.
Wow, such great ideas. I will need to check all of these out. I am on a quest to help the picture look like what happened in real life. You know what I mean? Thank you all and keep the ideas coming, you are the best!

Epson Stylus Photo 1400 wide format. Love it. It's my first Epson, but prior to that I've had Canon's and they all pooped out on my within a year.
I've been HP all the way, and i've been really pleased. What ever brand you get, make sure you use matching brand printer paper.

If you just want to print photos, I would recommend the Canon Selphy. It's under $100 and does a great job with 4x6 and smaller.

@milamemories, does the Charm print smaller than 4x6 too?
