I start by downloading all my isntagram photos from my phone. I normally do this using Google Drive, but you can you a cable or Dropbox or something else. I just use Google Drive as a backup as well so it's one less step for me.
I use a PC (Windows) program called Photosheet it's free and I make them 3.5x3.5 on a 4x6 there's also a 4x4 option that you can add 2 2x2 to. Then upload them and send them to Target to be printed (but you can print them anywhere)
i love postalpix, but when i want to print at home, i open up my instagrams in picasa and use the create collage feature and stretch the picture to fill about 4x4 on a 4x6 photo canvas. i usually print it out on my selphy, so i make sure that its margins will allow for the smaller selphy size. i also love the collage option because i can make smaller instagrams and print multiples on one sheet (a 3x3ish with two 1.5x1.5 pics).
i know there are easy ways with photoshop too...but i am still familiarizing myself with photoshop after owning it for WAY too long to still be ignorant ;)
There's a neat website called printstagram.com! It allows you to print your photos individually or in a small book. My only complaint is that the prints are kind of small.
There is a youtube video on how to use Shutterfly to print your intstagram photos. There's a couple things she shows that you need to do so that they turn out square like they are supposed to . I upload mine and pick them up at Target. Here's a link to the video- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rWrdZX3stfc The important part starts at 1min 40 sec. You definitely don't need to watch the whole thing, just a little bit. Not hard at all.
Just got my first order of Postal Pix because of the reveal discount. I'm not a huge fan of the 4X4 size and the thin paper, but I am glad I tried them. Then I ordered from Persnickety Prints and I must say, I am a huge fan. I got the 3X3 size and they come with borders on a coated cardstock. I love them. If I print at home I do 2X2. So now I guess I have plenty of options.
@amytangerine- you definitely should! the little stickers you can get are the neatest things (perfect for cards, journals, water botles... pretty much anything you want to stick it on!)
I ordered from printstagram last Thursday, and just today received an email saying they cancelled the entire order due to a currupt file. Has this happened to anyone else? I'm super dissappointed because of the time it took to select pictures, sizes, etc. and it uploads directly from instagram, not my computer, so the whole thing seems bizarre. Also seems like they should have recognized issue sooner. Oh well - but annoying!
I just got my first order from Printstagram... I am not in love with them. They took a long time and while I liked the quality I felt that the price was a little high.
I am thinking of trying another vendor the next time I order instagram prints.
if you have an Android phone and are in Europe, PiccaPrint is a great easy app for printing instagrams. their quality is awesome. It *might* be worth it in the US if you have a lot to print, but their shipping is pretty pricy.
But lately I've ben away from home a lot and scrapbooking on the road so I've been using this collage app (photo collage creator by big blue clip), and putting them all on a 4x6 canvas and then using my phone to upload them to walgreens and get them printed in an hour.
Since they're instagrams and I'm mostly using them for project life -- I'm totally fine with the walgreens prints.
When I'm scrapping layouts and stuff though, I much prefer to use the Persnickity 3x3s.
Hia how do you all print your Instagram pics? Someone mentioned an app called postalpix but I can't seem to get it here in the uk. :(
I think postalpix is fir the US, not seen anything like it to use over here.

I open it in PSE, crop to 4x4 @ 300 dpi. Then create a blank 4x6 @ 300 dpi. Move the 4x4 photo to the blank 4x6, save, and upload to Costco.

What sarahsc says, except sometimes I change the size a bit like 2.5 x 2.5, etc
I'm a fan of PostalPix here! Bummer it's only the US. I like Sarah's idea as a backup for sure.
prinstagram.com is what I use!
You can get regular prints, mini-polaroids, stickers, shirts etc of all your instagram photos!

I ordered from Printstagram today... we'll see.
I just print at home! I like instant gratification!

I also love Persnickety Prints too, but mostly just print from home and trim around them to keep them square.

I love Persnickity's 3x3 prints.
