B&H photo for sure. I bought mine there 3 years ago, refurbished. Great price, fast shipping and not a single issue.

I also have encouraged many friends to purchase their cameras there (also refurbished) and none of them have ever had problems.
I have also bought TV's, computers, iphones/ipods refurbished and we're never had a single issue. I always buy refurbished if it saves us money.

What camera do you have currently? a few weeks back, my Digital Rebel XTi broke. It was four years old, and I realy wanted to upgrade next year... well, it came earlier than I wanted ;) I did the canon trade in thing. I bought a referbed 7D and got an additional 20% off that price because of the trade in.

    here are the details :)
    So far, so good!

I bought mine through Hunt's photography out of Massachusetts. American 5 yr MAC warranty (same exact warranty as buying new and if something was wrong it would not be sent to China but worked on in the states). I saved about 600 dollars. (This was back in 2005). I could in no way tell this camera was in any way refurbished. I still use it everyday. I actually spoke with the owner Gary himself as a good friend of mine's mom is a professional wildlife photographer and they came highly recommended. HTH. Good luck! (We almost always buy refurbished with all technology bc of same warranty but increased savings. Never have been disappointed.

I havent done enough research to know exactly what i would want to replace it with other than i know i want another canon. Im so happy there are great experiences with refurbished models :), thanks ladies.

Another vote for B&H! I got my Nikon from there and it was like new! I've had it for a few years now and I haven't had any trouble. I think it came with a one year guarantee.

I bought my refurbished Nikon D50 at B&H and had a great experience. I placed my order and then checked the site the next day. Another camera was posted that was listed as being in better condition than the one that I originally ordered. I called and they swapped them for me with no extra charge. I was a VERY happy customer.

I bought a refurb from B&H. I haven't had any issues with it except from my own doing. Their customer service is great.
