To encourage you to take the photo-a-day class http://tinyurl.com/d7za78h and that you CAN keep with it... I thought I'd share my photo-a-day photos. http://www.shuttercal.com/calendar/NicoleS/2011/1/ I am usually one to start something with good intentions and then let it slip to the side as life gets in the way. I'm so glad I've kept going with this project through 2011. Looking back at my calendars and seeing them full of photos now (except Dec which I haven't updated yet or finished obviously!) makes me feel so satisfied. I actually accomplished this and reached my goal! Plus, the memories and moments captured in these daily snapshots just make my heart smile. Just a couple weeks left! :) Anyways, just thought I'd share. Hope you'll join us as we kick off 2012 in photos this January! :)
I love this! One of the many reasons why I am inspired to do this! This is an awesome keepsake. I suspect that using suttercal is easy but is that something we will get tips on??? I hope so! :)
I am excited about this class! Can you say how many pages are included in the pdf? I like that I can print and refer as needed....this is my first online class and I will need as much info as I can get, lol!
@laina... I did include a little about shuttercal in the pdf, but will share more in the forum. it's very easy to use. i'd love for others to use it since you can "friend" other users there and then follow their photos easily.
@blessedqueen... i'm not sure how many pages the pdf will be in total once we format it and add in the photos. but right now in word, single spaced, it's 13! :) 6 of those are q and a's with the contributors, the other 7 are all info/tips/ideas/etc
Weeeelllllll, I started off uploading weekly. Or even every few days. And that was much better. Then over the summer with the kids home more it was hectic and I uploaded monthly. Which was a chore to be honest b/c I edit pretty much all my pics. I dreaded it. But recently I've gotten back into uploading weekly and it's much better. Less stressful and quicker for sure!
Just beautiful! I cannot wait for this class to start! I'm so interested to see what happens to my scrapbooking once I start working with PL and taking a photo a day. My hopes are that my photography skills improve and that I get to capture little moments that would have otherwise been forgotten.
Thanks Nic, I am all set! I put my name down for the class and joined shuttercal. I'll try to find you.
I'll try to start filling my calendar (I started my 365 last day of October). I'm "elisa" there.
Your shuttercal was what inspired me to take a photo a day (or what I could manage) when I saw it in the beginning of the year. I'm definitely looking forward to this class!!
I'm stoked to take this class! I have a journaling system that has worked great over the last year and adding photos to this will make it awesome! Any idea when the pdf might come? Will it be emailed to our payment email address?
Hi everyone! I just signed up for the PAD class. I am soooo excited, not only to document the "everyday suff" in our lives, but hopefully to become a better photographer. How do you plan to print your pictures so that you can keep up with the project? Do you use your own printer (if so, which one do you have?) or send the pics out for developing? TIA

Welcome to SC, Danielle! The Selphy is pretty popular around here. But of course, you can always have it printed elsewhere.
Oh, wow, I love it! You've totally talked me into signing up!!
