Yes, especially for ST I have submitted the same layout under 2 different categories because I thought it would fit either one.
If you mean for different magazines, then yes, I have also submitted to 2 different ones because the odds of both picking it up are pretty nil. I've never had one picked up for 2 different publications.
I only submit about 1-2 layouts a month (maybe 0, the most I think ever was 3.)
I have submitted a couple of layouts for different calls, some for the same month, others for different months. For example I had a layout that I submitted for vintage, journaling, and family.
I've only submitted the same layout for two publications once - and it got picked up by both - hated to say "no" to the second publication! But, like Christa - the chances of it getting picked up by one - let alone TWO are pretty slim.
I would love to see some responses as to whether people get picked up for different calls than what they had originally submitted for!
I had something interesting happen once. I submitted a page for a call to ST and it was picked up for another issue, I think a special release. That happened at CK for me too once time.
I do submit a LO to more than one call, if it fits both.

Yep. Submit the same layout to more than one call if it fits.
I have never submitted to more than one call, but i have had a layout submitted to ST picked up for another northridge mag.
