any ideas? I have an idea for one, but I'm not sure how to bind it to make it sturdy. I want to give it to someone for his travels, so it needs to be sturdy and usable!

    Thanks!

You could use a fab rip or punch holes and use binder rings or even a machine, like a Bind It All...I have done all of these things and they all work, just depends the look you are going for.

Those are great ideas. I was looking for kind of a rustic look.

what is a fab rip? I've seen them in store, but I have no idea what they are.

I've only used binder rings, but they are very sturdy and it makes removing pages easy if they need to be removed or even expanded!

Fabrips are fabric with adhesive on the back... and you can rip them to different widths if you like.

You could use rings!! Before I had my Cinch, I used Rings, just punch the holes and you are good to go, it holds it pretty well.

Last year I did a Journal / Smash book on our road trip to Florida and I used rings, because I didn't have the Cinch yet and it help up really well!!

Using decent sized binder rings also makes it easier to hold the book all the way open flat, if it's supposed to be a travel journal or something they're adding to. Just make sure the holes are big enough and that the rings are big too.
