1. You have to "share", yes, but if it fails to upload, it will be saved to your gallery on the phone.
2. I use the app-cam, but you can choose a photo taken with the phone primary camera app.
3. I do not know of this ink361 you refer to. Sorry!

it used to be a separate thing, but it seems they've joined together!
hey joanne :) at the bottom of the instagram screen, there is the profile button. if you click on it and go to the very bottom, you can make your photos private, and then it requires authorization for someone to follow you. (and i read somewhere recently that if you turn your setting to airplane mode, instagram can't load to your feed, but the instagram photo will show up in your photos on your phone.)
Hope you don't mind, but I have an instagram pic question too. I can't figure out how to get my pics from my ipod onto my computer unless I add them on fb when I originally take them. {Then I can open them in fb, copy & paste.}
I just have an ipod, not an iphone. Not sure if that makes a difference. Thanks!
i put my phone in airplane mode when i don't want to share my pics, when i remember that is.
@megan, if you go into settings on your ipod and go to instagram, you can turn on the save photo option. it will automatically save it in your camera roll and you can transfer the photos like any other pics. hope that helps
megan...it's probably not the easiest route, but the pictures that i want to have access to on my computer, i email them from my instagram feed. when i open them on my computer, i click the link to see them fullsize online, and then save that one to my computer.
