I'm on vacation for the next ten days! We drove to Killington, VT last night and are staying for two nights and then driving up to Quebec City for five nights. I've been relaxing all day! Napping and reading and a workout! So beautiful here!
Curious what Quebec City will be like with Canada Day this weekend!
It's super hot here! A high of 101 for tomorrow. So we'll be hunkered down at home with air conditioning.
Actually, DS has to help with a morning triathlon for Boy Scouts (good grief!), but he should be done by 10 am, before it gets too hot again. DD has her first MAX sectional for marching band (MAX=mellophone and saxophone)--she's super excited.
And me? Some scrapping, some cleaning, some reading, some churching, some eating, and some relaxing!
SO excited for the weekend! My sister, who's also my BFF, is flying in late tonight and staying 5 days!!!! She's never been to Arizona, so I can't wait to show her around.
Probably no scrapping for me while she's here, but I'm predicting lots of sister chat, pool time, really cold sangria and frozen margaritas, some shopping, and lots of good food!
It's the last weekend of sales before the end of the financial year. Did a bit of shopping and car hunting too. Tmrw, hoping to get some alone time in the scrap cave. (It's 4.30pm Saturday now)

It's the beginning of our July 4th holiday week so we've got the road race my family runs in every year, we're meeting friends to go to the harness (horse) races at a (an?) historic track, maybe some fireworks Saturay evening then packing for vacation Sunday. We are going to hit a beach on Cape Cod and end up with lots of family at Lake Sebago in Maine!
I reaaallly want to scrap because I've recently done a big clean of my scrap space but events (all good picture opportunities! ) are taking precedence.
Today we have visited the Natural History Museum that's having a dinosaur exhibit. This evening I'm going out for dinner and some beer with a group of toddler mamas I like to hang with. Torrow my husband's sister and her family is coming to celebrate his birthday. Hmmmm. Hopefully they will not stay long. My SIL have 4 kids and a huge problem with setting limits. Serving them cake and cookies is like watching a flock of buzzards finish off a carcas... Then hubby's leaving to watch the Euro 2012 soccer finale at his brother's.
What are your plans for the weekend?
I am determined to work on PL- I got lots of photos in place last weekend and need to add journaling and pretty bits!
We also plan to go to a maths and science fun day at a local school.
Then lots of chilling as we have a busy fortnight ahead.

Cookout with the family tomorrow and antique/craft shopping Sunday! But the weather is gonna be over 100 here too!
