We're having ratatouille with andouille and cheese grits which may sound a little odd but tastes DIVINE.
i found these awesome chicken pineapple teriyaki meatballs at the store and made little sliders with potato rolls, teriyaki sauce, homemade pineapple mango salsa and the meatballs. yum :)

We just got home from Longhorn. They have a grilled chicken strawberry salad that is fabulous!

We went to the annual Edmonton Heritage Festival with pavilions from nations all over the world featureIng their cuisine. Fantastic food but I'm still stuffed!

our late afternoon went totally upside down, so we let ben (9) make us a pizza. we threw some salads / fruit with it and called it good. =)
Just heated up some leftover bbq pork (Guy Fieri's bbq sauce is awesome, by the way) and put it in a wrap. I made this pork shoulder in the crockpot over a week ago and we've been eating off it constantly. We're finally almost done. Note to self: 10 lb pork shoulder is too much!
We had steak, baked potatoes, bean salad and green salad. Hubby and Miss 2 being truly Japanese had to have rice with their steak too!
I had a salad and a free bloomin onion from Outback.
We had rice & bean tostados and roasted yellow squash from our garden. We have been trying to do Meatless Mondays every week. :)

I had a grilled chicken and Israeli couscous salad from Trader Joes. It's my favorite go-to, no-cook meal. I've packed my kitchen, so there is no way to cook!
We had cevapcici with rice, youghurt and ajvar relish. Yum!
We had some butter chicken and chicken korma on rice with some grilled zucchini on the side.
Last night we had smoked makerel with a chillii and lime dressing with sautéed potatoes and green beans. So relish! For the rest of the week we have black bean beef stir fry, beef olives stuffed with haggis, steak, chicken tikka and tomato and mascarpone gnocchi :)
i'm about to make 'whatever-is-in-the-fridge-pasta' . .... i think that will be leftover roasted chicken with potatoes and cherry tomatoes and lemon. gourmet i tell you.. ha!!
i love leftovers.. but i also hate leftovers coz they occupy space in my fridge.
