Good Morning! Well, it's another beautiful summer morning in my neck of the woods. I thought it would be fun to share a favorite summery dessert treat. I would love to try something new too!
This Rhubarb Cake is cray-ay-zee delicious! Here's how to make it, google amounts to convert:
150 g of butter
3 dl sugar
2 eggs
3 dl flour
200 g rhubarbs
shredded coconut
Butter a pie dish, and "bread" it with the shredded coconut. Cut rhubarbs into inch wide pieces and fill the pie dish. Melt the butter in a pan. Take the pan off the heat and mix the other ingredients right into it. Stir just enough to mix, not too much! Spread on top of the rhubarbs. Bake in oven for 35-40 minutes at 175 degrees Celsius. When done, the cake has a thin crispy crust, but is gooey on the inside. Serve warm with vanilla icecream.
Magdalena, that looks sooooo yummy! I need to pick up some rhubarb. :)
Melissa, yes, that's our go to dessert for sure! Right now I am craving coconut and cinnamon flavors for whatever reason, but i have to do something about it, haha!
strawberries, whipped cream, marshmallows, all mixed up and some chocolate sauce poured over, no joke it is DELISH and takes 3 minutes to make
Everyone that has tried it at mine, now makes it themself
This is also a great dessert to take to friends for a BBQ etc
just fling in fridge for ten minutes or so

my favorite is just berries with cream. okay, usually it's skim milk, but i dream about it being much better than that ;)

Strawberry shortcake is a fave. and just plain old watermelon.
We've been having ice cream with magic shell and sprinkles :-)
Good old fashion malts here! Ice cream (flavor of your choice), malt powder, milk and a dash of vanilla. Mix it all up in a mixer and voila!
