I'm going to start doing yoga again but not in a class like I used to. I'm looking for a good DVD to use but there are so many out there that I'm lost. I'm looking for yogalates and yoga so for those of you that do do at home yoga, what program(s) do you use? Thanks in advance!
Actually... I love my app called yoga free. I have it on my ipad & iPhone. I tend to be able to focus more on the poses when I can close my eyes & listen to the instructor call out poses. Plus I an program my own sequences into it.
As for DVDs I really like Shivea Rae.
If you have netflix, last I checked they had a few videos on there. You could try those before you buy a disc.
I attend a class at the nearby university or just do sequences at home while listening to the pandora yoga station.
I'm such a nerd- I didn't even think of apps! That's a great idea! I'm heading to the App Store now so I may just download several and see what floats my boat. And I'm going to check Netflix tomorrow after beezy goes to school. Thanks girls!
YouTube has some good ones. I wish I had known you liked yoga. I have a close friend out here that is a yoga instructor. He does free yoga days twice a month.
@amy I love it...my back is all sorts of screwed up from volleyball and I can feel a huge difference when it's part of my daily routine- for the past year though, I've let it fall by the wayside and I need to change that. I downloaded several apps and tried one out tonight that I think will work and then tomorrow I'm going to check out Netflix too :)
I love the site yoga today. You can buy individual classes, subscribe, or just stream their free weekly classes. They also have a YouTube channel!
