Dawn McVey

Dawn McVey has been married to her best friend and husband, Bart, for 11 years and they live in Kansas with their one year old labrador puppy, Windsor. She’s had a love of all things paper her whole life, but started making cards as a hobby about 6 years ago and after being laid off from an office job three years ago, made the decision to turn that hobby into a career. She’s had her cards published in Paper Crafts, Cards Magazine, Scrapbook Trends and several other paper-crafting magazines. She began designing her own line of products (Raspberry Suite) for Papertrey Ink in 2009 and also serves on their Senior Design Team.

She and Bart love to travel and spend as much time together as they can. (Europe is a favorite destination!) Dawn loves taking photos in her spare time and shares photos of their life together as well as her cards and crafty projects at her blog www.dawnmcvey.typepad.com.

Dawn feels so blessed to be able to work from home, designing, creating and doing what she loves each day. It’s a wonderful life and she’s extremely grateful!
