Celeste Vermeend

Celeste lives in Buninyong, a small country town in the state of Victoria, Australia. She leads a busy, full life, running around after four sweet growing girls and one rascally baby boy. In between loads of washing and endless unpaired socks, Celeste dabbles in photography and scrapbooking. She started crafting with paper 9 years ago after her baby twin girls were born. Her husband pointed out a scrapbooking sale advertised on the television (which he surely regrets!). After a month spent creating an album dedicated to the emotional upheaval created from their birth and long stay in the Special Care Nursery, she was truly hooked!

Since that time, Celeste has been widely published in all of the Australian scrapbooking magazines and was on the design team for the now defunct For Keeps magazine. She was a Scrapbooking Memories Master in 2008 and has also taught scrapbooking classes in her local area. She has been on numerous online design teams and has participated in challenges and classes locally. With five children she now thoroughly enjoys the simplicity of the online scrapbooking community and challenge blogs. Her style has gravitated toward simplicity and space... with a little snazzy thrown in..Perfectly mirroring her ideal family life!

Her passion for paper craft inevitably lead to her investing in her photography skills. Celeste prides herself on being 'self-taught' in regards to her camera. Always learning, she is perfecting her craft with daily snapshots of her family and now has a fledgling photography business, capturing the love for families and people in her local area and nearby Melbourne.
