Nicole Harper
Nicole Harper lives in Elyria, Ohio, on the shore of Lake Erie just west of Cleveland. She has been married to her high school sweetheart, Mike for almost 12 years and they have one amazing 8-year old daughter, Allison. Being one of those kids whose heart raced at the thought of shopping for school supplies, it was really just a matter of time before scrapbooking found it’s way into her world. When not at her full-time job of 15 years at the Cleveland Clinic, she can usually be found hanging out at home or on the road searching for her next vintage treasure.
Nicole has been published in Simple Scrapbooks, Memory Makers, Scrapbook Trends and several idea books.
According to Nicole:
When I was a child…
the 70’s were in full force, life was good and nobody cared that you wore green plaid polyester pants with a burnt orange velour shirt.
I can’t imagine my life without…
friends. (this includes my family also) true ones lift you up when you need it most and never let you down. They are my solace on bad days and the ones I turn to when it’s time to celebrate.
I would love to win a shopping spree to…
Pottery Barn, Crate & Barrel or the Ann Arbor Antiques Show. (this is based on the possibility of moving to a new home and convincing a few antiques dealers that they were doing the right thing.)
I was most embarrassed when…
my girlfriend in 12th grade came to school with her underwear hanging out of the bottom of her jeans. She was so horrified that I actually felt her pain. (apparently, her Mom didn’t believe in the prevention of static cling.)
If I could be anywhere, I’d be…
on the boardwalk in Cape May, NJ. So many good childhood memories there.
My least favorite chore is…
laundry. period, end of story.
If I could be on any tv game or reality show, it would be…
Big Brother. I have a feeling I might get ‘evicted’ kind of early, but you never know, right?
If a mystery package arrived on my doorstep, I’d hope it would be…
anything at all. I love getting mail.
My guilty pleasure is…
cheese. in any form or flavor…well, almost any flavor.
I thought I would never…
have longer hair again. It was short for so long, that I’m enjoying the change.
If a genie granted me three wishes, I’d wish for…
a new home, the opportunity to work when I felt like it instead of full-time and 3 more wishes. (that’s allowed, right?)
You would never guess it, but I…
skipped 1st grade. I totally attribute that one to my Mom and Dad for everything they taught us before school even started.
