Elizabeth Kartchner
Scrapbooking has been part of Elizabeth Kartchner’s life since grade school when she came home from 5th grade camp and started cutting up pictures and adding stickers. It sure has come a long way since then! Her current style includes fun pictures, bright colors & extraordinary thoughts about ordinary days.
Over the years Elizabeth has worked for numerous scrapbooking companies such as Close To My Heart, American Crafts & Rusty Pickle. In 2007 she won the 'Scrapbooker of the Year' contest for Creating Keepsakes magazine. She is now on the Creating Keepsake’s Editorial Board and has a monthly column in CK magazine called “Dear Lizzy.”
Surprisingly, Elizabeth married her first date, Collin, and they have two silly munchkin girls, Avery & Quincey. She shares creative ideas and the crazy, everyday moments of being a mom on her blog at www.elizabethkartchner.blogspot.com
According to Elizabeth:
When I was a child... I was a tomboy in a skirt.
I can't imagine my life without... laughter.
I would love to win a shopping spree to... Anthropologie.
I was most embarrassed when... I really can't think of anything for this. Except once I called my co-worker, Will, 'hunny'-that's what I call Collin.
If I could be anywhere, I'd be... at the beach.
My least favorite chore is... folding laundry.
If I could be on any tv game or reality show, it would be... 'Press Your Luck' no whammies... no whammies.
If a mystery package arrived on my doorstep, I'd hope it would be... a shiny, new pair of shoes. or any shoes they don't even have to be shiny ;)
My guilty pleasure is... a root beer float.
I thought I would never... marry my first date.
If a genie granted me three wishes, I’d wish for... another day to spend with my dad, to be able to fly, and Coldplay to do a live concert in my backyard.
You would never guess it, but I... used to work at a Juvenile
Detention Center. Then I quit and started working at Pebbles in my Pocket.
