Jessica Sprague from Raleigh, NC
Jessica started scrapbooking in 2004, about six months after the birth of her first child. A web designer by trade, Jessica loves incorporating computer techniques into both her paper and digital pages. Jessica won both the Memory Makers Masters and the Creating Keepsakes Hall of Fame contests in 2006, and was invited to join the Creating Keepsakes team as a contributing editor in July 2006. She regularly contributes digital and paper layouts, digital scrapbook kits, and Photoshop tutorials to the magazine, teaches at CK live and online events, and provides a weekly Photoshop tutorial called Photoshop Friday on her blog, http://www.spraguelab.squarespace.com. She also authored a special issue of Creating Keepsakes called Computer Tricks for Scrapbookers.
According to Jessica:
I can’t imagine my life without…
Diet Mt. Dew and Bazzill cardstock.
I would love to win a shopping spree to…
Anthropologie.
If I could be anywhere, I’d be…
camping in the mountains. Or taking a nap. Or taking a nap in a tent in the mountains.
My least favorite chore is…
grocery shopping.
If I could be on any tv game or reality show, it would be…
Jeopardy. Nerdy, huh?
You would never guess it, but…
I was a housekeeper in a nursing home, and a fry-cook at McDonald’s. Now I’m both a housekeeper and a fry-cook. Proving that the more things change, the more they stay the same. :)
