When I was a Child...
I had the best childhood! We went swimming everyday in the summer and I buried a mouse with a Twinkie when the street cat got it. ...O man, honestly I could write a book you guys. It was a really special time for me. Me and the Manzana Way kids ^_^
I can't imagine my life without...
My family. That's it in a nutshell. Like I really can't even imagine what it would be like not to wake up to my children. Or not to feel the excitement when I hear my husband coming through the door at lunch time. I'm always asking how I got so lucky. I'm truly very blessed.
My least favorite chore is...
Oh goodness, do I have to pick just one? lol...I would have to say folding and putting away laundry. With a family of 7 there is just SO MUCH of it!!! Whew...I'm not sure how many loads I wash a day but I'm set on the kids wearing undershirts under everything so I'm sure that doesn't help any lol....
If I could be on a tv or reality show, it would be...
Well, oddly enough I tried out for a reality show in 2007. I was a competitive cheerleader all my life and since I stopped and had a family; my body was never really the same as it was when I was an athlete. So when we were living on Oklahoma City there was a casting for the reality show "I Want to Look like a High School Cheerleader Again" In Dallas. Needless to say I didn't make the cut but I would have loved to be on that show. That and "The Amazing Race"!!!
My guilty pleasure is...
Sweets. In particular, chocolate sweets. I'm talking an Oreo sundae with extra fudge ok? Throw some banana slices in there too. Oh yeah man..... yuuuummmm........
You would never guess, but I...
I was within 10 feet of Johnny Depp and Orlando Bloom!!! It was the premiere of "Pirates and the Caribbean: Dead Mans Chest" and I was right there! I got a magazine worthy shot of Orlando but I almost lost my mind when Johnny Depp came down the red carpet. I was shakin' in my britches and he came out all fuzzy. It's ok though...I will never forget that night ^_^
