Celine Navarro from Montpellier, France
Céline Navarro is a 26-year-old self-taught artist living in Montpellier, southern France.
She is a Designer for Rouge de Garance, American Crafts, Scrapologie, PaperArtsy, Paperbag Studios, Glitz Now.
She would describe her style as funky, fresh, colorful, sometimes crazy, sometimes melancholic, sometimes full of poetry. She hates rules in scrapbooking, but maybe that’s because she comes from the Mixed Media world.
Céline has been published in Somerset Studios, Legacy, Scrapbook Answers, The Stamper’s Sampler, and publications such as The ATC book by Stampington, Lifelines, In This House, A new Approach to ATC’s, Somerset Home, The Heart of Design…
She teaches worldwide, especially in France, Europe and the United States.
According to Celine:
When I was a child… I was the opposite of what I am now. I used to be shy, didn’t talk among people I didn’t know, never smiled. I was quite wild in a sense I was silent, kind of closed off from the world…well now…I’m much more of a LOUD, crazy, very chatty girl! I love to make people laugh and smile a LOT!
I can’t imagine my life without… my family. They are everything to me.
I would love to win a shopping spree to… Anthropology! I would buy every single item in this store, I swear!
If I could be anywhere, I’d be… in Seattle or Paris. These are my two favorite cities. I love Seattle because it’s so crafty, clean, beautiful, fresh, green…Well I could probably live there. I would love to! Paris is just romantic, artsy, unique…but oh well, I go there every month to teach at my scrapbook store, but I couldn’t live there! People are weird! LOL
My least favorite chore is… Ironing. YUCK.
My guilty pleasure is… Haribo candies…yum…or Reese’s… oh but did I tell you that I started a new diet??? Oh well…I’ve started a week ago…
I thought I would never… travel that much thanks to my passion! I’m a professional scrapper now, I teach a lot worldwide but I would have never thought that, when I decided to quit my job 2 years ago, I would travel so much! And that I’d get a chance to go to Australia to teach classes! I’m always amazed and I am aware that I’m a very lucky girl.
You would never guess it, but I… always cry when I watch a movie. Ok, not in front of horror movies ( I hate those by the way) but yeah i LOVE to cry watching a movie.
