My name is Tracy and I just joined Studio Calico!  I have become friends with Nicole Harper, a very talented designer here on this website. I am still a little confused about the process of this website. What I have gathered is that one becomes a subscriber to the website and will receive a kit each month?  However, I noticed that the July kit is sold out, much to my dismay. Anyway, after ordering the kit, are there idea layouts with directions for the layouts on this site?  Do we get ideas when we get the kit in the mail? 

 I am a little confused!  Please help…I want to sign up for the monthly subscription, but want to know more about how it works.  THANKS!  I am very excited about this site and have heard many good things about it!

There are lots of ideas for layouts on this site, but no directions.  The kits do not come with directions, but just the contents of the kits lead to ideas galore.  The DT gallery is full of amazing layouts that you can use for ideas and the member gallery is awesome too!  I know of no other place where so many talented scrapbookers post their works of art!  From what I have heard the July kit is going to be awesome.  This site is awesome and I am so glad you are here!!

i hope july isn’t sold out!! it goes up for sale on "reveal" night which is the 28th of each month at midnight… so, technically… we all stay up late on the 27th as it turns into the 28th!! for east coasters, it’s at midnight… west coasters, it’s 9pm on the 27th.

preview night is when we get glimpses of the next kit…that is the 14th of each month. 

if you’d like a sub… i’d email april or scarlet at info@studiocalico.com. with a sub, you are guaranteed a kit until you decide to cancel. add-ons are a different story! lol! they are up for grabs on the 28th.

on the reveal, the fab DT shows us their work in the gallery tab. you can click there now. for some special projects, april and scarlet give us more direction… and usually post where to look on the MB! 

it looks like everyone has explained the process well. and nik can answer any other questions you have. she’s a good friend to have! :) we love her here.

Here’s a little clarification: the July kit is NOT sold out! As a matter of fact, we still have April, May, and June kits available as well. You may subscribe now, and begin with the June kit, or you can wait until June 28th to purchase your sub (which will begin with the July kit). If you wish to purchase now, simply go to the "Kits" page and choose "1 Month Only" or "Subscription." If you would like to see previous kits that are still available, please click on "Kits" and then "Past Kits." You will have to click through to the end to see the most recent ones.

You can also view past Design Team Galleries for loads of inspiration!
