I’ve looked around for a little clarification on this this, but I’m not seeing it… I’m sure someone can clue me in. :]

I signed up for a subscription last month, but I’m 99.9% sure that I didn’t make a paypal account; I just paid through paypal without making an account.  I guess I’m just wondering if that was a bad choice? Do I need a paypal account in order to have a subscription?

It’s my understanding that I’ll get a payment request to pay for my July kit, and I don’t need to add the main kit to my cart at midnight… but if I want to buy an add-on, do I wait and pay for them all at the same time? Or do I pay for the kit when the payment request comes and then purchase the add-ons at midnight? It seems like that might result in shipping charges for add-ons? [This is where I’m wondering if the paypal account comes into play…]

If anyone could sort of walk me through the process, I would so appreciate it. Sorry for the hassle and thanks in advance!

I just signed up last month too. I got a new sub and bought an add on.  Im not sure what to do on reveal night either. I know will have to pay for the add on but not sure if I add a kit to my cart. Thanks for asking this.

Here’s the dealio….

After signing up for a sub, you do not need to add it to your cart each month, it is automatically done for you.

You will need a paypal account attributed the the cc that you wish payment to draw from each month.  And, amy christine, you should already have an account set up otherwise, you wouldn’t have been able to pay.  It just probably automatically logged you in.

Add-ons will be paid for in a separate transaction than your main kit.  So, if you wish to purchase add-ons, don’t wait for your kit to bill.

One more thing to note.  In the 2nd month of your sub, you get an email from Paypal requesting you to set up your membership.  Follow the link in that email on the date you want payment to process each month.  If you don’t want payment to process until the 1st, don’t follow that link until the 1st.  get it?

That info about the 2nd month makes sense. I just have to figure out my paypal situation now. :]

Thanks so much for your help, April!

yes, the add-ons bill separately from the kit if you have a sub

I got my email today to set up my membership, and I was able to set up my paypal account then… it knew that I had used paypal before based on my info, but now I am all set up. Thanks so much for taking time to clarify for me!

I think I was worried for nothing… I do that to myself sometimes. ack.
