Tell us about yourself...

My name is Sasha and I live in WI - but on the Twin Cities border - with my darling hubby, Jason, our son, Owen, and our little dog Sophie. Ever since I can remember I've wanted to do crafty things with my mom, aunts, and grandma but they were mostly into knitting, crocheting, and cross-stitch at the time. I quickly found out my temper and needlework didn't go well together.

But, in high school I came upon scrapbooking and finally all the pics I'd been taking and the little tickets, and odds and ends I'd been collecting had a purpose. When I got married in 2004, I really was hooked. It's pretty simple, but I just love pretty paper, and I love using it.

Other than scrapping, I sing. I have a vocal music degree, so I get some gigs here and there for weddings and such, and I really enjoy it.

I love hanging out at home with my little fam, cooking, wine, Snow Patrol, ghost hunting shows, and the Travel Channel - especially Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations. Oh, and I cannot get enough of Studio Calico!
