Seriously wonderful thinking there! Such an awesome design, too! Love the perpendicular shape to the photo strip vs. the journaling, and the fact that you managed to retain so much refreshing white space, while still including plenty of fun details! I can totally see why this would be one of your faves. It's totally one of mine. :)
