I wanted to say first that this LO was inspired by Stephanie Howell's LO 20months from the Nov reveal. I loved that LO and so wanted to try and use it as a sketch! Then to answer your question about the photos, yes it is an action of some kind. I used the site www.rollip.com and am now completely obsessed with changing all my pics to this style!
