I am such a split personality scrapper - first I create a sleek, simple, graphic layout, then I created this mess...
Here are the jumbled thoughts in a more legible fashion...
1. I am surprised I am still single. 2. I am completely not surprised at being single. 3. I still can’t engage in meaningful conversation with my mother. 4. I like being on my own, doing my own thing. 5. I am not ready to be a complete empty-nester. 6. I want to be more spontaneous. 7. I want to be less impulsive. 8. I want to go to Greece, bad. 9. I want new skis. 10. I am thinking I should go back to short hair. 11. I am itching to restart my doctorate. 12. I want 10 less pounds on the scale. 13. I feel financially stable. 14. I see a light at the end of the debt tunnel. 15. I could not be any more addicted to the internet than I am right now. 16. I am very proud of Taylor. 17. I am hopeful for Ryan. 18. I wish I were a better photographer. 19. I need a maid. 20. I miss holding hands. 21. I am almost always tired. 22. I imagine what it would be like to have a new baby again. 23. I wish I knew then what I know now about raising children. 24. I am glad I don’t have to fight with schools any longer. 25. I wonder if I will ever finish reading The Fiery Cross (now on 18 months). 26. My favorite show of the decade is “Modern Family” on ABC. 27. I am proud of what I do at work. 28. I am good, really good, at what I do. 29. I am grateful for a body that still lets me go hiking. 30. I love taking the dogs to the desert and mountains. 31. I rely on my GPS. 32 My treadmill was the best present ever. 33. I worry about needing an external hard drive. 34. I am definitely learning how to fix my own toilet – soon. 35. I wish more men were smart, interesting and attractive at the same time. 36. I hope I will be a good grandmother someday (not too soon). 37. I wish I always felt creative 38. I often forget friends’ birthdays 39. I am considering attending more Friday night services 40. I miss lighting Shabbat candles with the kids 41. I adore my two big dogs Sweetness and Boone 42. I am grateful I have a job that I like and to which I feel committed 43. I appreciate having a boss who completely understands and respects me 44. I give a little, but should give more 45. Life is pretty good
Amazing layout Ally. I turned 45 this year and I don't know that I can express my feeling anywhere near as well as you. You have inspired me to stop and take a look at what I am feeling right now...

What an outstanding list...love learning all of these bits and pieces of you!
Love the layout too...might be messy, but the message is awesome!
Ally, this is so awesome. We should all be doing pages like this.
This layout totally rocks!!! Love the style, love your list, love the whole concept!
Love the page and the thoughtfulness! And love the photo (did you take it?).
I'll be making a similar page in just about . . . 17 days!
Thanks! And yes, the photo is a self-portrait :) Hence the reason it's slightly blurry :)
Love this! I recognize myself in many of your statements. Maybe because I am 46..
Awesome page, Ally!
I love this - so random and sincere.
And, you can not be 45!
