• I hand cut the title, sprayed it with ink and then glued it in place. I think it looks stenciled - almost like a banner you’d hold up at the game! • I painted the center of the green cardstock blue and then painted around it green. I like the way tone on tone (green paint on green cardstock) painting gives some visual texture to the layout. • I hand cut the banner from some patterned paper and folded it to create movement. I used brads to secure the folds. • I wanted to emphasize the fact that I used a nib pen to write my journaling, so I added some ink splatters to the upper left corner.

PS--Totally random, but I was at the Portrait Bug a few weeks ago and Kim mentioned that you're pretty involved there! I don't know many other scrappers in the NY area--do you have any scrappy events in town that you go to?
